Edward- I am doing a venture management project for my class and we have been researching opening a franchise in San Diego. Truth is, as much as we all want a Sonic in our home town, I wouldn’t invest in it. Their fees are ridiculous. 5.9% marketing and advertising fee on top of a 5% franchising fee. Google “Sonic Burgers” to find their homepage if you are still interested
